In order to help me grow as an artist and also to meet other artists, I belong to three local art groups:-

• Phoenix Art & Crafts – was formed in order to give busy members some set aside, quality time to practise their craft. • As you will see we are a a pretty eclectic group of artists and crafts people and we collectively organise exhibitions, so watch this space if you are looking for exhibitions with a difference!

• Dorset Arts and Crafts Association – To revive and promote the study of handicrafts and to encourage the education of the residents of the County of Dorset in old and modern arts and crafts and industries for their pleasure and personal development.

• Dorchester Arts – Dorchester Arts is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation. It is more than just a venue and promoter of entertainment, they are fully engaged in a range of community-based arts activities with a variety of groups in the local area.
